I have two items. None of their other properties are super impressive. I'd assume someone would buy these for orbing.
So, what is the going rate for...
+14 Spell-Aim Bonus
+11 Lock Picking Bonus

Either of them wearable? If weapons/chestworn armor, orb without question.
If the lockpick one is armor, it's valuable just to sell it as armor. A lot of rogues expressly pick boxes, and would love an item such as that.
The spell aim bonus is only useful if it's an orb, or a wearable, for the most part.

The +11 to picking is on a set of armor. I will have to double check the stats.
The +14 spell aim is on a staff. Definitely orb fodder.
(Both have other enhancives too - just nothing I felt worth mentioning)

Is the staff an even enchant? +5/+10?
If so, you'd be wise to simply get that thing enchanted up. Even if it's not fusion, a 7x runestaff with +14 spell aim bonus would command a hefty price.
The armor doesn't matter the stats. A lockpicking rogue just wants it to log on, pick 50 boxes with it on, and remove it once done. That's the extent of the use, and a VERY nice item to sell as such. My rogue has a set of +9 LP and +6 disarm armor enhancive that's LIGHT LEATHER. ROFL. I don't care, because I don't hunt him.

Here's the full stats:
an exquisite deringo runestaff -
+8. +14 to Spell Aim bonus (must be level 63), +8 to SMC bonus (must be level 22), +5 to SL:Summoning bonus (must be level 15). A lot of charges remaining.
some gleaming ora chain mail
2x, temporary crit padding (incredible amount of uses remaining) +11 to Picking Locks Bonus (must be level 27) huge number of charges remaining.
Jack, do you have any experience enchanting stuff like that? I found a similar runestaff last night and I'm wondering how hard it would be to make it a nice piece of its own - +8 enchant, +10 SA, +15 dex.
Is it still a minor project if you're heading toward +20 but it's also enhancive?

You could get either one to +18 with a capped wizard I would wager but that's about it. Not sure how difficult that +15 dex would make yours for sure though Goat.
Yes, it's still a minor project Goat for +13 and +18. Enhancive doesn't matter except that you need the extra potion and difficulty is way higher. After +18 it will be an Major enchant.

LOL, and look what I just found myself. Stupid odd number enchant, hate that crap. I'll probably attempt to enchant this though.
It has a bonus of +12 from a normal runestaff, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in twohanded weapons to use effectively.
The runestaff resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 13 to Spell Aiming Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 55 times.
It provides a bonus of 3 to Elemental Lore - Fire Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 6 times.
It provides a bonus of 6 to Dexterity Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 46 times.
The runestaff looks to have a lot of charges remaining.

I am pretty sure the difficulty of enchanting an enhancive item goes up with the size of the enhancive. I think you'll find these items are nigh impossible for a player wizard to enchant but best consult with a capped experienced enchanter to be sure.

going to be a bitch to enchant regularly, as I've been trying and failing myself on my 86 wizard with similar stats, but I'd leave the spell aiming as a runestaff and sell as is.. let the buyer decide to orb or keep/enchant as they want.
In the past I've sold +14 SA orb for as much as 30m. You'd have to be prepared to wait to get that price though.

Its true but it is more based on recharge cost, and things like spell aiming are pretty cheap. if it is anything in ranks instead of bonus though, or something expensive like dodge, super difficult.
