These two logs are short, so I decided to post them both at once. Which is better? More funny? Or rather, do they both suck? Hoho. You decide.

[Dragonspine and Ora]
Preoccupied folk make their way along this wide and busy avenue. A crew of broom-wielding dwarves sweeps the street clean of rubbish, working quickly under their supervisor's glare. To the west is the Company Store, which draws a steady flow of traffic to and fro. You also see a colossal mein soldier, a V'tullian elder, a towering stone soldier, a massive troll king, a weathered monir trunk, a sturdy tanik trunk, a rotting hag, a V'tullian elder, a colossal mein soldier, a towering troll prince, a towering troll prince, a V'tullian elder, a V'tullian elder, a mein shard, a mein shard, an acid-pitted mithril box, an acid-pitted brass box, a mein shard, a mein shard, an intense shimmering circle, a massive troll king who is lying down, a towering troll prince, a green sapphire, a huge red-scaled lizard who is lying down, an enruned maoral box and a mein shard.

[Dragonspine and Vultite]
Dragonspine Avenue ends here, and the canyon walls close in to the east and to the south. A smaller street heads west, and several of those travelling it have the look of sailors. A rough path wends its way east, sloping upward toward the canyon wall. You also see a V'tullian elder, a huge red-scaled lizard, some dragonfire quartz, a crimson-eyed massive black warhound, a V'tullian warrior, a scratched monir trunk, a disease-ridden rat which appears dead, a shadowy warrior shade, a shadowy warrior shade, a black tourmaline, an intense shimmering circle and a mein shard.
Obvious paths: north, south, west.

The image fades.

You concentrate on moving the eye . . .

A disembodied, floating eye enters the room.

You command the eye to return to you.
You hear a soft hiss as your wandering eye rushes towards you. You reach out and catch the squishy globe and quickly press it back into your eye socket. After a few blinks it seems to seat itself properly. You wipe off some gooey red residue with your sleeve, and feel yourself once again presentable.
A V'tullian elder just arrived.

Light dances along the sheer rock wall from torches set in roughly carved red-veined marble sconces that flank a pair of massive iron doors. In the dark the ruddy glow coming from behind the doors is obvious. The sharp scent of sulphur from somewhere beyond stings your nose. You also see a V'tullian elder, a guild shop and a dark glistening obelisk.

[Take note that the reason I said, "Aww" is because I purposely led him into this room. It's perma-sancted, so I was going to say, "Aww, can't kill me here, can you?" I forgot GMs can cheat, though. (Well, bind always works in sancts -- but once it summoned all those minions... heh.)]
