Since this is a wanted topic and I don't feel like cluttering the folder, I'm also on the look out for some of those gory gauntlets from EG!

If you're big on gory just get a random ass 1lb pair of UAC gloves with no scripts on them already, and wait for a gory merchant. I've ONLY seen them at EG13 so far. Which I got my lance done at. I didn't see a gory merchant at 14, but I was busy carouselling the whole time.

I got it, I'm just screwing with you. It's a bit of a shame, since I don't exactly have items I would consider worth getting gore scripting on. Maybe when one of those merchants rolls through I'll have an item worth tinkering with.

I just put it on my weapon I use when hunting. That way it stays bloody. Putting them on gauntlets is fine, but unless you UAC, you don't get blood on em. I'm fairly sure of that.

black ora as in the plain unspeshul stuff? If so, I should have a few two handers in my locker.

As for goryweapon, it's not offered often, EG seems to be the place.. you'll want the Butcher's Lair, the abandoned general store hidden area, I think it is. You can get them off-the-shelf there and, sometimes, get them added to other items. 2-3 years ago he was adding fully unlocked goryweapon to stuff. You can also, rarely, get them customized. Take a look at Durakar's maul for an example of customized.

You don't have to actually use the item to get blood on it. You need a dead thing and then there is a specific verb on the item to coat it in the dead things blood, so if you just use the gloves for RP, that will work.

Personally, I'd recommend working on a set of non-scripted UAC gloves now, get something spiffy in the works, and then just have them with you when EG rolls around. If you get it, cool, if not, you can grab some off-the-shelf goryweapon. That's assuming you don't find something sooner.

Xerria, the monthly Premium unlocking merchant, can unlock to tier 1(one above off-the-shelf, apparently) easily and the tier 2 are on her limited list, but also something easily done. If you get some off-the-shelf goryweapon gauntlets at EG and get near the front of the line for a room order month you can just use both your spots to get them to tier 2. Tier 3, however, is much more limited. The only way to get that, right now, outside of EG, is to win one of Xerria's monthly raffles and select it (you need to already have it unlocked to tier 2). I think she has only 1 or 2 of these, per year and it's something I'm trying to win myself now that the jewelry boxes are done.
