It was the very first evening we had so many new people in town when one of them told me what happened to him, with no small amount of wonder in his voice.
Props to Whirlin for impressing the daylights out of a new warrior in town.

I love hearing about this as well. For those who cannot spare their own, please consider sending them to the Mentors. I keep remembering a conversation I had a year or so ago about them trying to organize all the donations and having so much they would never be able to get rid of it all. Perhaps a mentor might share the circumstances where they assist newbs with gear and such? Or am I misremebering? If so, send them my way and I will do what I can, regardless.
Though if I have just given you 200k and a few items and then find you demanding people not vote for me, I am going to be sad. Again.

The new people that found their way through the gates of Ta'Vaalor have been welcomed. It is nice to see such acts of kindness and I hope to be apart of that when its my turn.
Well donw, Whirlin and Luxelle.
PS. Im still working on a tale for you to hear. I hope you will like it, sweetie.

Nice story! I always try to help out new people. I have given gear, containers, armor, weapons, which is sitting in my locker, not very valuable to me, but worth a ton to someone new. I was one of those also- all I wanted was a spidersilk cloak, I have no idea why! I could not afford one, it was maybe 150k, I was under 10 trains. Faulkil befriended me, and his friend, Jesperus, had a shop with one in it. They surprised me with it! It wasn't scripted, weightless, or fancy, but I was so excited and proud to wear it, and, of course, grateful. I never forgot that, and always try to pay it forward, and I tell the new ones, who are just as wide eyed as I was, to do the same one day.
I remember another story- a sorceress and her wizard friend made a strength imbeddible for me, it was a tiara, and I loved wearing it!
