Recap of recent events?

For the benefit of older players returning and new players just starting out, can someone offer a quick recap of recent events? Like what are the current storylines, why are Hendoran soldiers running around town, was that krolvin/undead invasion last night tied to anything, etc.

The huge storyline that recently (sort of) concluded was Cross Into Shadows. I arrived near the end of that and finally gave up trying to follow it in any detail. But let me share the things I studied to attempt trying to understand it.

This storyline took place over the last few years.

All I can say is that the attacks on the Landing looked completely mythical to a newcomer when I arrived last fall. It was _very_ scary.

This storyline timeline was the only timeline I could find on the wiki when I went looking for a historical timeline of some sort. Most of it I had no reference for, and I have not studied it at all because of that. But if I need to know something, I know it's there :)

In Ta'Illistim last year the Argent Mirror was married, but her husband was assassinated at the wedding. That story is not as active, watch the calendar for Argent Mirror audiences.

Looking at another forum there was a post there asking about current events for those that are new and returning. As its something I been thinking over since the end of the last story Cross into Shadows I think now with the influx of new characters thanks to F2P now is a good time to start.

Next Tuesday starting about 10PM EST, Puptilian will hold the first of a series of in character discussions on the current events of the Landing at Moonshine Manor. The first night will be about current events, who the main characters are and what their roles are, why we have knights around town, and why half the town is burnt down. As the bulk of the story took close to 5 years to play out, I will have discussions at future dates to dive into the history and how we got to the point we are.

While this is aimed towards new and returning players all are welcome to come listen in.

Yeah I can believe that. I still remember my first invasion back when I first started. I forget the exact context but
there was a massive undead horde approaching the landing from tbe south. A group of trolls, played by GMs allied with the defenders of the town to help us fight the undead. One particular player was griefing the trolls and eventually one of them snatched him up and bit his head off. I've been hooked since.
