Let me see if I can do this in the shortest version possible.

Bandanas is doing sorc guildwork. He had to have been doing speed reps because he was fucking with this gem every 2 seconds which was creating a phenomenal amount of screen roll.

So, playing Nalina, who thinks its more polite to do guildwork moderately, makes a snotty comment. (Because well, she's a snot) Anyhow, we get into this big debate. It seems to have been over and done with (with no real resolve because Nalina looses interest) and he leaves.

Cue Luky, Qook, Marluxian, and Omens.

Luky and Qook come in and basically start shit with me, getting into this rediculously large argument about being able to do guild skills. I try explaining how I don't care that they are done, just in moderation because its irksome. Well Luky morphs into this raging lunatic cuntbag and starts freaking out at me. (Though I give her kudos for not being dense enough to get physical) Qook inserts a few comments and Omens joins the fun.

They all decide to start scrolling the park with those fucking annoying as shit sorcerer tricks. I'm pissed but I grit my teeth and further (I know, bad Shari) provoke Luky. In the end, all of house Brigatta (I think thats where they said they were from) now seems to want a piece of me. All the while, Bandanas is nowhere to be found.

Now, some very good people that I usually hang out in the park with I have lost a great deal of respect for. Namely Omens and Luky. I had always known Luky to be a very funny, nice person who is more goofball than blind bloodlust. Omens just seemed to jump into it because he was a sorcerer and was acting more immature than anyone in the park, and that's saying something considering Warclaidhm was there too.

I know some of the names mentioned frequent here, so now that we've managed to cool off, care explaining what the FUCK just happened?

I came in late on that one, just heard Nalina belittled Bandanas and, well, family looks after family. As to where Bandanas was the whole time, he was sitting in Brigatta not wanting to get fined for killing someone in the park.

Next time your gang of "family" wants to jump on one person, perhaps you should do it with more class.

I don't care if you're part of a house or not, that shit was way uncalled for in my opinion. I had to leave since the scrolling the screen with the intent of being a fuck head was out of line. You want to argue with someone, fine. Start being an ass and causing needless scroll is being a true dick.

Marl

erm class? other than Ent and Omens(who just happened to be there) scrolling their illusions. I did not see anything happen that wasn't "classy". But, hey, I thought it was funny as hell and no one even died!

My opinion on the matter was that the "family" had the lamest reasoning, they claimed it was a free park, so they could do what they want.

While claiming the "freeness" of the park, they were also telling Nalina that she should leave, because it was their park, yet it's a free place to do whatever you want.

The logic just wasn't there in my eyes.

Basically, they had their heads up their asses for no reason, and the whole time it was sancted until the very end...I'm just glad that I got two diamonds out of the deal. Thanks for being morons and leaving your containers open.

I think my main qualm was with Luky. I had always liked her, she was generally very amiable. The fact that she was getting bent out of shape about something that really had nothing to do with her had me staring at my screen in shock.

Her use of profanity, and immature reasoning had me disbelieving that this was the Luky I have interacted with before. And if it is...someone desprately needs to send her a box of tea, some Midol, and a heating pad.

Lame reasoning being taking up for a brother? And yes telling Nalina to leave if she did not like the illusions is not claiming the park for our own, and if ya got those diamonds from me, good job! You are my hero! I never close my containers, you should have looked in my wand case, grabbed you a nice wand or two, they are worth more than diamonds :D

The whole point was that Nalina didn't do anything, she never once told Bandana's not to do his guild reps, she asked if he could possibly slow down a bit.

I just think you guys got bent out of shape over nothing.

Like I said I showed up late, did not see what happened to cause it all. I walked in and they were all pissed someone called Bandanas a name so I went and joined them in the park with them. The only thing I would have been mad about would have been the ungodly scroll Ent, Omens and a couple other sorc's were doing towards the end of it all. And damn if Warclaidhm's copy cat crap wasn't getting on my nerves heh

Yah out of all of that War, he said one thing that actually made me not think he was retarded. Then he started back up...

I just think the next time people step up for their "brother", they should at least know what their sticking up for, because that was something that got blown entirely way out of proportion, and there really was no need for the insane scroll.

I think we should all apologize, and then kill Warclaidhm 1000 times over.

Sound like a plan?

blown out of proportion...maybe
good reasoning...definately

he is retard....hell yes, but funny sometimes

Oh and since I'm still awake, I've never had any interaction with War, gotdroppedasachild, claidhm I hope I NEVER do again. He's a moron and more than deserving of all the crap he's gotten.

But yeah, I don't mind people having a fit in the park. Heck, it's what I come to expect anymore. But people jumping in who don't know anything about the situation prior to adding their biased judgement of drive me nuts. I don't think Nalina did anything wrong, but the entire situation was a cluster fuck from the point of almost every sorcerer wanting to add their scroll to the mess.

I can ASSURE you the park is not free. Many have paid well throughout the years there.

So there was a conflict that did not involved those who stood up for their "brother". It was resolved for the most part and they came and started more....

Ummm if it is not "your" conflict stay out....

geesh I am sure bandanas is a big boy who can take care of himself and was smarter than the rest as he left the conflict before it escalated.

I have always liked and looked up to Luky as well... thats sad to hear.

Actually, love, I cruised in and observed a bit, then bowed to you in introduction since Luky was unfamiliar with you. Something Luky doesn't do oft, she bows in introduction as polite. And you spoke words to Luky first, don't recall what exactly, but cocky to Luky for her having acknowledged you. Any who know Luky are well aware that it takes a lot for her to turn into a "raging lunatic cuntbag" (tsk tsk, such exaggerated language!), which she was far from being. Likewise, any who know her also know that she avoids others battles, and is smart enough to turn them towards her to react... which you did willingly without her having to say much at all. :D Ah yes, but you already admited to having provoked further. Heh. Granted, there are exceptions: My husband, my family, my House, and a few select other organizations. You tapped into them all in one spot... and was still, your words to Luky and your words in her presence, that got her - not anything that had transpired previously to Luky showing up.

Luky's Player... waiting for the what was it?... Midol, heating pad, and what? Ah screw that stuff, send me a 12 pack. :saint:

Yes, I did speak to you first. I asked you why you were bowing to me, and at which you prepared to honor me for hatever reason. Then you bared your fangs and jumped into an issue at which you had nothing to do with.

Coming to aid for house and family? Remind me to inform anyone I know to not join a house. I'd hate to have to be associated with a group of people that chooses to get involved in something that was pretty much over and done with.

You want exaggerated language? How about calling Nalina a bitch I believe it was what, twice? You then started going off on how it was a free park, people allowed to do whatever they want...does that not give Nalina the right to voice her opinion on an issue that is bothering her?

You don't want to be associated with Brigatta. Believe me.

I understand the sorc work is annoying but at the same time like everyone else with guild work, they want to get done.

I've dealt with plenty of screen scroll from sorc guildwork and I totally sympathize with people who get sick of it. I do too. But I also sympathize with the sorcs doing the guild work, as I've worked a few characters through guild ranks as well. I just want to get it done. Actually, the sorcs doing the guild work even get sick of looking at it. It's not fun for them, either.

I think people should voice their complaints more to staff than at the players. In my opinion, it's extremely careless to design a long-winded description like that for something that has to be repeated and done constantly, such as a guild skill.

I'm not knocking the people who complain, I'm just trying to show the other side and suggesting what I think might be a more productive alternative.

They should really change that particular skill.

You are correct. My language was over the top, that's generally reserved for table speak. Nalina's to be respected for standing her ground and for refraining from bitch slapping me. I apologize.

Hey, I hear you Weedmage, believe me. I've actually posted on the offical boards about the sorcerer guildwork, as have many others.

I sympathize with the sorcerers as well. My character, Nalina, finds guildwork to be a pain in the ass as a rogue herself. HOWEVER, I make sure to do my guildwork either in the guild where other members are, in the east tower, or if I MUST do it in the park (due to lack of people) I am doing that annoying damned tumbling probably every two minutes, even if I was screwed enough with having to do 15 reps of it.

As I had stated earlier, though it seems Luky, Omens, and the rest of them seem to not be able to comprehend (thus resulting in this argument in the first place) is I don't CARE that the guildwork is going on, the park is a great place to do it because there are always tons of people there. But for the love of all that is good and right in the world, do you have to do it EVERY TWO FUCKING SECONDS?!?! Pan it out people, for curteous sake.

Hey, must admit, we should all pat ourselves on the back for not having swung or casted at each other once.

my thoughts exactally, how many folks do you know that would go to swinging if someone glance wrong? Give us our gold stars for being passive.

Well, that and the sanct probably helped. It saved Warclaid, that's for sure.

Shari

SHHHH!

Besides, I don't think it was sancted the entire time.

Alfster
10-13-2004, 03:35 PM
The sanct dropped, and they started up with their sorcerer stuff, and within a few minutes they left.

I had no clue it was even sancted at all, just waiting for someone to make the first swing/cast, then it would have gotten real fun real quick with Warclaidh stuck in the middle heh

Alfster

I honestly thought htat Warclaid came in with all of the Brigatta people, seeing as how the people from the house used teh same agrument as Warclaid did....after he initially said it.

That to me was just hilarious.

Alright, does anyone know Omens? Like, the guy behind the character? Anyone have any way of find out if he sold that character? He seems to be very trigger-happy today. He got all pissy because I was being a sarcastic jerk and proceeded to stun me, fog me to the Landing Garden, and disease me until I died.

I never recall him being this much of a bitch, anyone feel like cluing me in?

Praefection

Actually there was a sanct up, cast by my character. It would have dropped after I got sick of watching my screen scroll an obscene amount and left. My bitch of a headache didn't make things better to watch.
