Warclaidhm [subdued]: "selling a soft crimson spidersilk cloak edged with black velvet trim. Has actions, it can become web draped. It can drop bugs which are edible. Atunning. Looking for 500k"

Warclaidhm [subdued]: "Also has spiders that come out automatically"

Jadah [subdued]: "automatically?"

Madsnake [subdued]: "any spidersilk or sailcloth backpacks fer sale?"

You [subdued]: "As opposed to manual spiders."

Svardin [subdued]: "or massive wolf spiders"

Warclaidhm [subdued]: "yep. the spiders come out..they got a mind of their own. Dis cloak is really nice..da spiders live in it"

Aareala [subdued]: "dont all spiders have a mind of their own tho?"

Turem [subdued]: "But then again, where else would they live?"

You [subdued]: "Who would have thought that spiders weren't mind controlled?"

Warclaidhm [subdued]: "yes, thats what ahm say in'"

You [subdued]: "Warclaidhm is just full of useful, up-to-date information."

You [subdued]: "Tell us more of these wonderous automatic, thinking spiders."

Ganimead [subdued]: "Tayre"

Litzen [subdued]: "Do I detect a
hint of sarcasm?"

You [subdued]: "Me? Gods no. I'm as serious as a krolvin attack."

Warclaidhm [subdued]: "selling a soft crimson spidersilk cloak edged with black velvet trim. Has actions, it can become web draped. It can drop bugs which are edible. Atunning. Looking for 500k. Has active spiders dat do stuff automatically."

Vazzim [subdued]: "Selling a Golden spidersilk wand harness, weighs 3, holds medium. ttm with offer"

You [subdued]: "Does it have automatic spiders?"

Alti [subdued]: "Semi-automatic"

Warclaidhm [subdued]: "No, its not a semi."

Warclaidhm [subdued]: "Fully auto."

Dollie [subdued]: "ehehe"

Turem [subdued]: "Semi-auto huh? So are they semi-mind controlled?"

You [subdued]: "I think Warclaidhm is semi-intelligent."

Yep, he atleast tried his best to remain somewhat IC about the cloak...sorta. Still, the effort was made, and was far more than most would bother with.

Warclaidhm has been trying... He did not blow up and tried his best instead of getting insulted and being a jerk...

It was a funny log...

but kudos to him for trying and putting up with all the shit.

He's a moron. I don't care if he's turned over a new leaf it still came from the same stupid tree. Just keep him in the landing and I'll be fine.

Anticor, owner of Warclaidhm's ugly ass claidhmore since 1/2/2004.

Those stupid spider cloaks are like the worst trend GS ever had, besides gemstone-dusted items. I mean, honestly. Who, besides a half-nutty arachne follower, would really want SPIDERS crawling in and out of their clothing? I always shudder when I see that shit.

Btw, Artha, thanks a fuckin' lot. That spider was the nastiest one yet.

Spider cloaks are stupid. Gemstone dusted items are fine, though. I, personally, am a fan of a tasteful mostly black outfit. It's what Arkans wears!!

I still don't get the logic of, say, "a diamond-dusted blue suede skirt." How does the diamond dust stay ON? If you tap it, does it fall off? If you wipe sweaty hands on the skirt, do you get diamond dust all over your hands? Or do you have to constantly re-dust the skirt with your Spare Diamond Dust packet that comes sewn on the inside seam like a spare button?

They stay on the way glitter stays on clothes.

Ew, like 80's puff-painted glitter clothes? Because there has to be glue involved for that to happen.

2000 style women's clothes. 80's fashion makes me sick to the stomach, seriously.

So like, it stays on the way a tshirt with a glitter logo works? Because see, the glitter on said logo totally covers the white (or whatever color) cotton of said tshirt. So what would the point be of having a skirt dusted in gemstone dust be something like suede if it would just cover the fabric totally anyway? You can see this is an issue I am deeply concerned about.

Wait, this is Gemstone! I can always fall back on.. MAGIC!!!!

I'm sure there are materials used in making alters that we arn't aware of. Most likely, some sort of specially treated glue would be used (clear of course) or some other adhesive that doesn't cause stiffness in clothes. That's the way I always explained it.

Why not? Magic people invented the first post-it notes. Just ask Elminster. :)

Adredrin totally hepled my point, thus, I win.

I clearly lose, because I just can't get the logic of it through my head. That's OK, though. Naessi is way too fashionable to wear anything overdone like gem-dusted, anyway.
