Voln Armor

Does anyone know if they offer services to remove voln properties from armor? Also would they unlock t1 voln armor any further on 10x armor? Just trying to figure out my options.

While unlocking voln armor further would be a great service to offer they have yet to really do it. They've just done the armor you offered up to whatever tier the service was for if your armor fit within the guidelines. Premium offers property removal of items once every three months or so I want to say(once a quarter), might be more often though. For various services GMs have stripped things from items but there is usually no guarantee that they will do it unless specified before hand.

I figure the chances of them unlocking anything above 8x is pretty much non-existent for me. The better option would be to strip and Ensorcell. Which sucks because voln armor is pretty decent at the higher tiers...

I've yet to see any unlocking to further tiers. Just creation of new armors.

Any idea if they unlocked above 8x? One would think if t1 was added on 10x they would go further? But that could have been done at rtcf or whatever it's called.

No, as Jeril stated they just unlocked to whatever tier is appropriate for the armor qualities. So if you had a T1 put on 10x armor at RTCF they would not unlock to T2 at Talador because that would exceed their guidelines.

Just as an example, at Talador they would not put T1 Voln on 4x MBP with +6 TD and moderate resistance to crushing. So the guidelines are quite strict. I think they said that the best armor they would put a fresh T1 on is an 8x plain enchant, so getting a T2 or higher unlock for armor 8x and up outside of another RTCF style event is unlikely.

I'm still kicking myself or getting T1 put on the wrong armor at RTCF, I put it on my 4x fire flaring robes instead of some 6x HCP robes. Oh well, that's what I get for putting a Kobra Kai alter on both of them. :)

At EG they would only put t1 on forest green brig. They wouldn't put a t2 on it. T1 alone kinda just makes the armor worthless if it can't be upgraded further unless you wait 4 years for another high end event. Especially since you can't Ensorcell...

There is a point system in place. It can't hit 50 points. I think 10x armor counts as 25 points because it's half the enchant. I'm sure the formula is around someplace.

The 50point system doesn't seem to be in place for voln armor outside of RTCF. Instead they've dumbed it down. Anything over plain 5x (maybe 6x) won't have voln added to it above t1. 10x armor will not be unlocked outside of any kind of non-rtcf event.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain that you can't even get T1 put on 10x armor now (at EG/Talador anyway). I corrected my post, I couldn't get it on 4x armor with +TD and moderate resistance. That seems a low bar.

Ftfy. One can pp enchant any tier up to 10x, though, to get around that limitation.
