You can set stormfront up to log automatically too, but I believe in either case you have to turn on the logging feature first.

How is having a log of dropping an item going to help him? He already knows he dropped it.

I think so, but I just got it recently so I may have forgotten to do so.

It'll tell him where he dropped it. If it's in the sands he'll know where to ask about. If it's just on the trail, he's probably SOL.

Also, if you have to assist, it's easy to say, "I dropped it in X room last night around 7:00PM" and the GMs can help you quicker.
