People are often pretty wary of doing PP transactions with brand-new accounts, especially when it's not an account transfer. I strongly recommend finding well-known posters to vouch for you, or even better, to handle the process themselves.

It's not really an issue Goat if done properly, but it has to be done right or you might just wave good bye to your item...

Proper steps to safeguard yourself:

1. Make sure your log is running.
2. Make sure you thank the person getting the Sadie work done, and indicate that you can't wait to get your armor, weapon, etc... back. This is very important.
3. Make sure no payment is given until the Sadie work is confirmed complete. Bard sung or tested enchant etc...
4. Once the work is complete, pay them and get your item.

You are protected from item loss in game from scammers per a recent conversation with a GM I had. Obviously they can't protect outside transactions, that's why you should never pay until the work is confirmed complete.

Theo, can you say how much they sold for? Or, at least, what you were asking for them?

I've got about 6300 and curious about the going price.

For that large of a block they've typically been going for about 5,000 - 6,000 silver per point for the MB and setting a Bo around 9,000 silver per point.
