Just a heads up. We purchased a level 100 rogue named Tchzin from a paypal account: thirtina.rain@gmail.com

This character had been traded for Slocan and then sold to us. The skills and society were completely different from what we were pasted. GOS master =COL level 1 Fully trained in lockpicking/disarm=no training
For us its only the cost of a fixskill to repair this and the ordeal of this character being involved in a scam. For Kupaka who made the original trade its the loss of an expensive weapon.

The account name that it came from was momsgamebasement (should have been a red flag to begin with but i figured whatever)... arrangements have been made to move it to one of ours... so it's not a big deal... like she said on our end we're only out a fixskills but within minutes of logging the character in.. Kupaka started sending lnet messages that the paypal arrangements had been declined by the bank... i then asked which pay pal payments... and he listed off the email address that i'd just sent money to. So really he's the one out money

Yeah. Initially he sent me a payment via paypal for my splitter. I then cancelled the payment of course after noticing it was sent via echeck and telling the dude I won't be able to hand over the axe until the echeck cleared.

So of course, once i thwarted him on that scam attempt, I think he became uninterested on the axe at that point.

I then later Sold an axe to Tchzin, he made a payment to me through paypal for it, and I had done good business with that person recently through the trade of Slocan and Tchzin, that I trusted the person and gave them the axe. Then I find out that the payment didn't go through, and Tchzin is now sold to someone else. The person that started this post I'm assuming. To add to the information here. Our purchase of the Rogue Tchzin was through the game and not through the PC so we do not have his PC name. He did just send me an email saying he is confused at what I am saying but will refund our money.

We are happy to pay for what we got. We are not happy with the altered skills/society etc. But life goes on. I am more concerned that he also scammed others with insufficent funds on paypal. If he does refund our payment, we are happy to pay him what is fair and all is well with us. Not so much for jon1833. I only posted this to give the rest of you a heads up.

Now I find out that this person was involved in a few scams and I would be sure to look into Hoy as I'm sure he had something to do with it. Neimanz is his forum name. He has been untrustworthy since the beginning and now it's painfully obvious that he has collected all his ill gotten games through scammer means. Be careful dealing with Hoy as he is obviously in association with the scammer. Its a slippery slope, first overpriced shop items, then it's scamming for accounts and items. What will he do next?

Tchzin was sold to me for a decent amount of time, the person in question appears to be the person Buck sold Slocan to. I traded Tchzin to the person that owned Slocan, for Slocan. The transaction went quick and easy. Then, later, after I received Slocan, and he/she receive Tchzin, I sold an expensive axe to Tchzin, this just happened last sunday. Then when the payment didn't go through, today, I contacted Tchzin, and found out he had been sold. Tchzin was only in the hands of the person in question for the last 2-3 weeks or so. And Slocan is in my hands at the moment.

For what it is worth, I attempted to buy Slocan about a month ago and the deal was all but completed until the seller (Intrantes) decided to sell to someone else. I realize it's completely up to them to decide who they sell to, but just another shady dealing in my humble opinion.

This has been the weirdest day ever. We still have no idea where this is all going as now we have all been pulled into consult over it. So just be careful.

In a strange twist it turns out Lemonkyst is the scammer and is trying to throw heat off themselves by preemptively claiming the other party is the scammer.

To be truthful, since im good and drunk and bored that address shows as colorado because i had to get cash out of an atm becuase apparently there are no suntrust branches in colorado, and i didnt want to wait till the bank opened on monday to 'fund my paypal account' i bought a prepaid visa and loaded at a 7-eleven with a not to friendly mountain billy of a man, im pretty sure thats why the paypal shows colorado since i registered the card at the address of the hotel, if you wanna be super sleuth though you could always confirm that, that address is in fact the hotel :) I'm not even sure why i feel compelled to share any of this, other than a morbid need for entertainment. I just wish you all had complained this much, and refused to take my thousands of dollars when i was spending with you. then maybe you wouldnt have had to spend all this time posting on here giving me all this love. And if you would like to know i decided to go all wild and splurge on a couple fixskill potions to play around with the rogue and decide if i even wanted to keep it, or play ect so I went ahead and linked the prepaid card to the rogues account so i could pay for them off there instead of another card or paypal since there was still 40 or 50 bucks left on it, in fact there's still about 9 bucks on that card its still linked to thast account feel free to go wild at the simucoin store :) I guess you could always ask Terzl if her/his echeck bounced i wrote him/her one for 400 bucks for a masterfully sighted bow, i never heard any complaints...<shrug>

yeah that was my point, that is the card i put on the account to buy the potions with when i was still trying to figure out if still wanted to play and if so what, which is why it says colorado as the address to match the billing on the prepaid card. I had to update my addresss to match the change in billing info. if you contact customer service im sure they will verify that as well. All of the char's ended up being pretty fun, just wasnt quite what i was looking for is all.

the original deal was a capped rogue for 220 bucks. upon realizing i maynot have fixskillled him back to picking. (what i pasted and showed roiken as his skills was from when i had planned to sell him to bastardofstark) i dropped that to 200 because of that skills issue and the fact that he wasnt set up to pick like i had shown in my AIM message. they also didnt tell you he had almost a mil in silver i left on him too which, with the extra 20 bucks i took off woulda been enough to get a skills potion. Roiken raised so much fuss, i first refunded his entire 200 payment immediately, he then offered me 150 which i didnt want to take but after the skills misunderstanding i thought it was the kosher thing to do, and i accepted 150. It really isnt about the money i have plenty, its about trying to work with someone and be reasonable, responsive and polite and getting continuously shit on after the fact when you bent over backwards to work with them.

We make the sale open the account and the society has been changed with 1 rank. Skills are all messed up and not even remotely close. Harsh death sting. We were unhappy but would have wrote it off to live and learn.

The big scare for us came within 2 minutes of logging the character in we starting getting private LNET message that Tchzin has scammed Kupaka. We have to meet with him and sort it all out. We file a dispute with PayPal. They respond in our favor.

You start emailing us. We work with you. We buy a fix skill. We start getting accused of being you and scamming folks out of a 1500.00. We get pulled into consult a few times. We agreed to 150 due to our expenses for a fixskill/transfer fee/death sting potions. You made the deals with us. We accepted it. We paid you what you asked.

I don't have any first hand knowledge of the transactions in question, but what I do have first hand knowledge of is that Intrantes is a liar.

No one is crying. The original post was a heads up so no one else would get scammed. As Tillman noted it was one fantastical lie added to another. The moment the character was logged in stats/ skills were not as posted. We get immediate private message that we owe folks money. We get yanked to consult several times. You can pick out bits and pieces and make it what you want. My intent was just to let others know because it went from a simple sale to a big blowup in no time. By posting these types of scams it hopefully saved some grief for others.

By the end of the day the amount of different stories we were told was head spinning.

We only mentioned those facts because they show the beginning to a trail of lies, that when added to all the others... screamed SCAMMER. When other players are contacting us and accusing us of scamming them with this character out of large sums of cash.... we know this could be a serious problem and others should be alerted to the situation.

In the middle of us resolving this you start with stories about needing to contact your ex to get the password to your real life sons account, and getting him involved in this story in ways I haven't even shared here. His character was already trolling/scamming and saying things that didn't add up on LNET. In fact, HAD he offered us the rogue that morning we would have turned the offer down. I still feel like there is going to be more to "that" story one day.
