Here are some of my preliminary results for the cooldown update Wyrom did to the hidden bracers. Will test needles, sneezing powder, dark crystals, and smooth stones once I have at least 15 of each to see just how many before it overheats. Really nice improvement over the previous cooldown.
**Ok just getting back to this now that I've stockpiled components. Sessions 1-4 are done with a capped rogue with 2x perception, 30 Dex bonus, and 0 thrown skill. Session 5 was done with a level 53 monk 1x in perception, 0 thrown skill, and 33 dex.
Session 1, 3 shots, aiming at left eye
1 opal scarab, 1 blue scarab, and 1 dark crystal
Session 2, 3 shots, aiming at chest
2 red vials and 1 yellow
Session 3, 15 spheres launched, no aiming
Session 4, 8 scarabs launched, 1 unaimed then 7 chest shots. (first scarab hit a hand and didn't burrow, I hoped a chest shot would actually let it tunnel into the orc but no luck)
2 onyx, 3 red, 2 blue, 1 translucent
Session 5, 15 needles launched. Aimed at left eye with poor results, perception greater than 1x recommended? Or perhaps excess perception in earlier tests makes up for lack of thrown skill?
