You need to upgrade to Ruby 2.0 and stuff. There's a thread on Lich and how to do all that

I don't wanna upgrade though! Argh! Do I really have to?!

JackWhisper

Man... every time I've had to fucking upgrade Lich, all my shit goes bananas! Blargh!

Gizmo

It's not hard. Uninstall it all, and just install the new shit...

JackWhisper

I thought he played some new game now from former GS players. Fight the power.

You don't need to update Lich, just the lnet script. You can probably do that by typing

;repository download lnet

If your repository script is really old it'll give the same error message. You can get a new one from https://lichproject.org/download/repository.lic and put it in your scripts directory.

YEAH! Tillmen fixed this shit like nobody's business! Woo!

I still have like eight different copies of lich littered about my computer, but my shit works! WOOHOO!

Did this happen just now or about six hours ago?

Drektor

Both. Actually.

Tillmen

Hm.. well there were some issues about 6 hours ago, but everything should be working now. You can't bring up lichproject.org at all?

Drektor

Main page seems fine. The download tab and that link specifically, do nothing for me.

Tillmen
03-27-2015, 08:33 PM
What link is it?

Drektor

https://lichproject.org/download/repository.lic

I'm not even sure it's what I need. Lich just doesn't seem to be working at all. ;infomon runs, that's it.

That link works fine for me. Whatever is keeping that link from working for you is probably also keeping lnet from connecting. I don't know what that is.
