Would someone who knows more than me tell me which enhancive properties would be best to use for...

*FYI, none of them are meant to be pocket enchanters/ensorcellers/etc. only. I didn't want to make leveling harder by specing them only for being a pocket whatever.

a Pure Halfling Wizard - goals would be to increase bolt AS, increase my ability to dodge maneuvers, increase enchanting success and ability

a Pure human Sorc - goals would be to increase ensorcell success and ability, and increase whatever makes a sorc a stronger pure hunter

A ranged dark elf rogue that snipes from the shadows that is 1x CM, 2x ranged, 2x ambush, 3x dodge, 2x disarm/pick, 3x stalk/hide - goals are to make ranged AS as high as possible

a polearm elf bard - no real goals here yet, other than loresinging and becoming a pure bard at level 60 or so (he's 22 now, so that's a ways off)

There's no dark art to deciding what skills/stats to enhance. If you can train your character's skills/stats, you can pick enhancives. In the case of your wizard: If you want bolt AS, look up what adds to bolt AS. You'll find that it's dexterity and spell aim. But of course, you already knew that.

The only subtlety is enhancing ranks vs. bonus (or stat vs. stat bonus). The relationship between skill ranks and bonuses is non-linear (see the "Rank" wiki article) and therefor +1 to skill rank will always be more costly to charge than +1 to skill bonus in a single skill.

The dark art of Enhancives is all about how much you are willing to spend. You can enhancive nearly every useful stat and skill on any character with the right amount of coins spent. You decide how epic you want to be

PURE HALFLING WIZARD - Dexterity, Spell Aim (both very very important), mana regen (nice but not crucial)

HUMAN SORC - Dunno, sorry

DARK ELF ROGUE - I don't know about ranged, but hiding is most important to enhance. If you're Sunfist, throw in stamina regen.

POLEARM ELF BARD - Dunno, sorry.

The treasure system is set up to make spell aim pretty rare in enhancives, but with the Spire, you can covert any weapon skill to spell aim.

Really, as a wizard, you want max dex and spell aim enhancive. It's very very worth it.

for a ranged sniper if you are maxxed in perception (2x) then in order to raise AS you need dex bonus and ambush ranks, strength bonus is nice for lowering fire RT, and stalk and hide bonus and ranks...well to make you hide/stay hidden better
