Huh...

You gesture at a tarnished horseshoe.
You sense that the tarnished horseshoe is a magic item that contains the Spell Shield spell with a total of 3 charges when fully charged. It recharges a single use roughly every 480 minutes. The horseshoe hasn't been used recently.

You rub the tarnished horseshoe in your hand.
Feels smooth!

An opalescent aura surrounds you.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

That's a post from Wyrom.

He better be fucking with us. No way am I going to check the hundreds of junk items I find on a weekly basis just in case one of them is an awesome item.

Give us a break please, GMs! Don't make awesome items look like normal junk!

I think it's his idea of a teaser, personally. Maybe they are making self-rechargers a bit easier to find? One could hope!

But what the fuck would I know..

I dunno, he posted it in response to someone who said he considers tarnished horseshoes (plus a bunch of other stuff) to be "junk" and that he ignores them since they are junk.

Sounds like Wyrom was saying you shouldn't assume anything is junk but when it literally is junk 99.999% of the time I think it should be expected that we're gonna ignore it :p

Did you kill him and steal it?

The time spent messing with all the junk you find would be better put towards making silver. You're more likely to buy an item you want than find it.

It was in the GM room so no.

I'll take my chances. Annorax is known for leaving all sorts of goodies on the ground anyway. I usually only pick up the very valuable stuff (since I don't script and it's not worth my effort usually).
