....Don't leave me.
Some may say it's a bit of a stretch (you can't even bless it!), but I guess it's fair to call that lance "decently high-end."

The only thing you could hope to have done to it would be raising the base crit weighting, right? Otherwise, you're swapping out one feature for another.

I'm not sure you could increase the base crit weighting since it's a 10x enchant. Might be able to increase the bane weighting though.

No, technically you can raise the base weighting, the bane weighting, and add temp or perm enhancive boosting - if approved.

Could also add rotflares or any other oddball flares they may develop

If approved, yeah. Most of the time it seems they won't work on items over 8x.

Woops, forgot that one. Yea any subscript that works with the Gore fluff script.

It's the totality of the (impressive) work on the weapon rather than just the enchant. It'll need a very rare event or win - though yea more standard (premium and free/fluff orientated fests) sometimes use the 8x enchant limit.

Did you leave out the crit padding on that plate? it looks like vanilla 10x plate
JackWhisper

You, according to the GM I spoke to, have plenty of space, even outside an event like CCF, to add weighting, another layer of bane, and *as was my question* super bubble flares. However, the gory would be removed for the bubble flares, if I recall correctly. I am unsure. I got the gory for kicks anyways, so it didn't really matter to me, as long as the weapon qualified for bubbles. Which I was told it does.

And I'm not leaving. I fixskilled my pally into a different weapon spec for a special weapon I purchased a few months back. I didn't want this to just rot. Pff! Leave. HAH!

I was wondering about that too. 100m seems a bit steep for plain 10x plate, but who am I to judge?
JackWhisper

Ehh, might be a bit steep, but given the rarity of plate at full plate and 10x enchant prepped to project, it definitely isn't out of the realm of possibility. If it sells, it sells. Thank you for the pricing advice though. I may take it under advisement if I find myself in dire need of coins sometime soon. *cough paid events cough*

Oh, trust me, I'm not giving you pricing advice. I just figured you left out something. Carry on.

Isn't the lance Hels is selling better and cost less silver? Honest question, just wondering what I'm missing.

Sure, but this one was posted first and Hels undercut it a little.

Hels is better for hunting places like Nelemar. Mine's better for Invasions, Scatter, and OTF.
Hels is 20 points MCW. Very nice, actually. It's an all-around bitchin weapon. I tried to get my hands on it before I played with this lance, to no avail. Such as it is.
My weapon, is 10 points HCW, and 12 points VHCW bane when fighting extraplanar, which is the vast majority of OTF, Scatter, and any Invasion critter that can toss you on your head. For a total of 22 points MCW. Not a huge difference, but still.
As I used this in OTF, I found it better due to that facet.
But yeah, Hels weapon is badass. That much I do admit. =).
Edit: My lance is only superior when fighting EXPB. The bane does not work on non-extraplanar critters. To respond to the PM I was asked. It has no effect on common things like goblins or orcs. Hels has a lance that is all-the-time weighting. Not just situational. And thus, is kickass!

The biggest downside to Hels lance is you have to buy it from Hels.
There's also the downside that you need to be doing <99 pre-crit damage in the first place for all that weighting to do you any good :-)

afaik extraplanar bane is less than +12 points.
Roblar
01-13-2015, 09:53 PM
CCF was +12
[Collapse] Creature Banes
Service: Adding a creature bane, excluding undead, providing additional weighting (+12) or a flare
http://gsguide.wikia.com/wiki/The_Cessation_of_Coraesine_Field
..and checked RtCF wiki - that one was +8 weighting for extraplanar so maybe the confusion.

Yep. I had the work done at CCF. And it was confirmed beforehand and after, that it was 12 points, not 8. I didn't go to RTCF. I wasn't playing when that event started.
Thanks for clarifying the differences, Roblar. Will help me keep things straight =).

So uhh, everyone asking if I forgot something on the full plate... I did. It has 30% impact resistance on it. Thank you for making me take a second look at it. =) That's why the price is what it is. Makes a lot more sense now hahaha.

I'm a paladin. No point to it being true eonake, other than to drive up merchant service prices. I just like eonake as part of my pally shtick.

it's pretty hilarious how fucking awful sanctification is. The fact that it even still has any drawbacks in terms of enchanting and shit still for basically 0 merchnical benefit.
been saying forever, at least do something like make it blessable and the bless has an increased duration or something. christ.

Yeah when I started the project I had the shot at using a 4x perfect eonake lance but when I asked about all the mechanics and shit, nearly everything anyone could do was Item + whatever was on it + SANCT = difficulty. FUCK. SERIOUSLY?! JUST BECAUSE IT'S SANCTED?!
And it throws points away on the entire thing. Which is ridiculous. Ah well, can just throw UDB on top of it all and it's WTF best lance in game period.
