Identifying orb gems.

Aside from a bard singing them, is there a way a wizard can check to see which gems are orb gems?

I don't think so. Could always look for a phase scroll or something.

I'm hearing pure potions will identify them? Is there a place on FWI or Illistim that sells them? I know they sell off-the-shelf at the cleric shop in the Landing but I don't have an alt there to pick any up and drop them in FWI.

Milky white potions in Illistim are the equivalent.
