I've recently reinstalled my computer and find that Lich 4.6 runs a lot slower than previous versions. I will define 'slower' as it looks to take a second more to show the next room when moving or when attempting to do things. I've tried to run 4.4.19 but it doesn't look like that version is functional anymore. Updater fails to connect and do whatever it is trying to do.
Ruby: 2.0.0-p598
OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: i7
RAM: 16GB

I used to have this problem until I realized I left a sleep command out of a loop in a script.
Do you have this problem with no lich scripts running at all?

How long are these sessions?
What else are you running in the background?

I have rnum, and spellactive running. Even when not using go2, I find that moving between rooms is take 1-2 seconds.

If you haven't already try killing every running lich script and see if the problem goes away. Also like m444w says, does this happen right at start up or after a few hours of play? I need to reboot my computer every couple of days or the game, and my computer in general, starts to really lag.

Happens right from the beginning. How do I check what scripts are running?

No joy ... still just seems to lag between rooms and commands. Wondering if it has something to do with Windows 8.1

Ohh... is the lag only in go2? The change to 4.6 likely removed your typehead value in go2.

I notice it most in go2, but it is noticeably slower manually moving between rooms. I'll update my typeahead as well.

rnum makes my game feed laggy too sometimes, I figured it was probably that

I reinstall Windows 7 and everything seems fine now. Windows 8.1 and Ruby I don't think mix.
