The "reading" of the boards.

I brought this up somewhere else, but I thought it deserved it's own thread.

So, when I read these boards, the "voice" that I use to read the posts differ from person to person. What voice do you use?

Bobmuthol gets Napoleon Dynamite, because he is Napoleon Dynamite.

Nakiro gets the voice of a slack jawed Kentucky bumpkin, accented with the soothing hymm of banjos in the background.

"The E" might be a little difficult for those of you who haven't played Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, but there was a radio show where the rich guy's kid was on talking about how, "We should let all the guilty people go free, then they wouldn't be guilty anymore". He gets that voice... this is not a good thing.

Lalana gets the voice of a black radio station DJ. This is not a bad thing...

CT sounds hot.

Warclaidhm sounds like Napoleon Dynamite's older brother. May you someday find your Lafonda...

Chelle sounds like an old frumpy lady who has smoked three packs of cigs a day since she was 17 months old.

Chadj sounds like he's 14 years old. Probably because he is.

Leloo shares a voice with Lady Voldermort, aka "the candyman" (the one whose name shall never be mentioned). This is the voice of a 12 year old girl that was the slowest in her class and has impacted crayons and paste in her bowels from frequent ingestion. It's very high pitched and pauses at ackward places. It stumbles at any word larger than two syllables.

I can't explain Maimara's... but it's not scary. It's not cutesy either.

Arkans sounds like a closeted gay weightlifter. There's an artificial amount of bass in his voice to prove just how tough he is. It's broken up by occasional spittle when he gets excited.

Michiko sounds very cute. It's so we think she's innocent. She's not.

Raven sounds like a thong wearing shot boy who works at some club that has only a single syllable name... like "zoo", or "heat", or something... it's quite "en fuego"...

Tsa'ah sounds like a college prof that knows what he's talking about.

Jazuela sounds like the homeless person that ran out of meds picking up cans in the back of Tsa'ah's class.

Park Bandit sounds like my Uncle. They could be the same person...

Shalla sounds like Nicky Hilton. This is not a bad thing.

Tayre gets the voice of my roommate from study abroad. He and Tayre on the same "team". Don't worry Tayre, he wasn't "on fire"... at least not combusting before your eyes on fire...

Tamral sounds like the token Indian guy in any M. Night Shamalalhamalan film.

I should say, I agree with his assesments except for the people I've talked to and heard their "real" voices. Beth, by the way, is spot on - not cutesy and not all "rawwwrrr" either. She actually has a very pretty voice.

Bob- Is a cross between Napeleon Dynamite and Cartman


Artha - Lisps his S's. (the spider thing)


Tsa'ah- He's like my old college professor who thought because he was a "college professor" he had the world figured out


Maimara - Always has this self-evident bitchy voice, like everything should be obvious and you're stupid because you haven't figured it out.

PB: Talks slowly and has a soft voice.


Snapp: Is really hyperactive (like he just said "OH SNAP!")

Stanley: Definately has a mexican accent, he calls people "esse" even if he doesn't write that.

Anticor: Has a deep voice but trys to make is deeper

Jenisi: "Is all, like, whatever, did he really say that about me?" I guess that used to be called valley girl, I have no idea what it is.

Nieninque: Is usually a pissed off voice

Tayre: his tone of voice is like everything he says is a joke or sarcastic

Nakiro: Doesn't speak very loudly

Ardwen: Talks like Bruce Dickenson

X: Hard to describe, kinda high and annoying

Psykos: Has a really high nasally voice, like a mean Steve Urkel.

I'm like Crystal Tears in that just about anything I read has a voice, unless it's something I wrote.

Off the top of my head...

Artha has a kind of quiet, intelligent voice. Someone who's just waiting for his opportunity to JUMP OUT AND PWNINATE.

Since I've talked to Bobmuhthol, he has his voice.

Hell, that goes for Tijay, Tamral, Maimara, Michiko, SpunGirl, HellCat and a whole bunch of others as well.

Tsa'ah has a strong, sarcastic voice. With a hint of "I'm never wrong, so don't bother arguing."

HarmNone has one of those voices that even when they're telling you that they wish you were dead, is still sickly sweet and mock-caring.

Chica has a very cute, perky voice. Comparative to Mindy from Animaniacs.

Stay has a kind of shady, dark voice that is always secretly laughing at you. I'm sure he'll like that, though.

Anticor has a sort of HA HA! voice. Not like laughing at you, but like.. "I have vanquished this fiend! Ha ha!".

Sergey has a creepy, nasal pervert voice.

Edaarin actually sounds like a white boy in my head. A cocky, frat-ish white boy.

Soulpieced sounds like "I'm better than you and there's nothing you can do about it" sort of tone. It makes reading anything with his name next to it difficult, as I just want to skip over it in spite.

CrystalTears sounds like Angelina Jolie. Blame it on her avatars.

Leloo sounds like Melissa Joan Hart in Can't Hardly Wait. The girl in the background that nobody really likes but she's trying hard to get all their signatures in her yearbook!!!

Xcalibur sounds like a tourist who doesn't speak English and you immediatly write off as completely stupid.

Drew (Chiv) sounds like me. Blame it on the name. :(

Kadumi sounds like the guy who's always on some sort of mind altering substance and can't get angry... or excited at all.

Weemage sounds like she's always yelling wildly and needs more medication.
