This happens every time Hoy raises his runestaff. Just wanted to throw it out there. I wasnt sure where to post this, but here it is anyway.

Hoy thrusts his glowbark runestaff high into the air. One by one, the sigils carved in the glowbark begin to flicker with a faint glow. *The crystal at its crown suddenly flares to life with a brilliant white light. The light spills forth from the crystal and rapidly spirals around Hoy, obscuring him from view for a brief moment.

The clear solution is for you to kill Hoy and bury him in a shallow grave, under a large rock, making sure you drive an iron spike thru his heart. He has a heart doesn't he?

I too see this when there are certain actions going on. Seems harmless enough though.
