AC Help

When petting my AC, I get message "you timidly pet...", when others pet my AC, it appears they are scratching his chin or whatever. What's up with that?
Also, can you change AC's? I'm not sure if befriended (or rather cant remember if I did or not)..how can I tell?
Please help!

Rangers got shafted with messaging on their companions. Would have been nice if we could have done something other than pet them. Unless its changed recently you cant get a new pet(unless the arch is still up then you can go through to get a new one at a later time, i think its a long wait though). To check your affinity level gaze at your companion.

You can't change your AC (unless you've had him for less than five minutes or so, and you haven't befriended him), supposedly this will never change and you're stuck with what you got. We are supposed to get more RPing verb this November during RSN.


PS: What sort of AC do you have?

It's because your demeanour is set to reserved.
Set your demeanour to neutral, friendly or warm and see how that changes it. Alternatively, set a macro like

xdemean warm\r\xpet [companion]\r\xdemean reserved\r
