Selling a gem cutter and a few different patterns. You put a pattern into a cutter, along with a gem, press it down, and bam, the gem is cut. I know a number use this to mark off which gems are chrisms from the regulars. Some gems will hold the look for cobbling too.
Cutter:
a pudgy black iron bear
Patterns:
a macaw-etched emerald imflass pattern
a pie-shaped golden mithglin pattern
a tree-shaped emerald ora pattern
a cabochon-cut blue steel pattern
a rolton-shaped dark silver pattern
a sword-shaped pure white pattern
a coffin-shaped black steel pattern
a bar-cut red gold pattern
a book-incised black steel pattern
a crescent-cut bright silver pattern
a bunny-shaped bright yellow pattern
a shell-shaped white gold pattern
a boot-shaped copper pattern
a wolf-shaped white gold pattern
Example:
>look in bear
The black iron bear is clutching a mottled agate in its tiny grasp, and there is a crescent-cut bright silver pattern set in the slot in its back.
>turn bear
You wind up your black iron bear several times and let it go. The black iron bear winds up and begins chiseling away at the gem. Working furiously, steam shoots out of its head, creating a thick cloud. After a moment, the cloud clears and the black iron bear brushes away the dust to reveal a perfectly cut jewel.
>get agate from my bear
You remove a crescent-cut mottled agate from in your black iron bear.
