Yes and no. Monks specialize in open UAC (which no one seems to really like compared to other options)

An ambushing twc rogue, or a twc berserking warrior will put more damage out per second than a monk ever will. Not to mention cmans, guilds, and armor benefits monks don't get. But rogues can't take a hit as well and warriors can't dodge as well. Monks are viable with whatever build, but everyone will tell you another class can do whatever build better.

That being said, this is an awesome item for a monk. I wish I wasn't broke.

My monk kills faster specced for THW + mongoose than he does with UAC + rolling krynch. I imagine the same would be true with TWC.

Get rid of jab and tier 1.

Integrate mstrike with UAC.

biggest thing is no criticals on tier 1. add criticals on tier 1

But make those changes only good for monks. Warriors and Rogues being as good as monks at UAC is stupid and sucks. I converted a warrior to monk and played.. i was ok with it, but it was slow and vulnerable to every damn CS spell. I never had to worry about physical DS, even standing in a swarm was nothing. The reason there was a swarm, however, was often because I was killing so damn slow. Monks have a lot of flavor, but do not pack a punch. I am talking extreme post cap monk too with excellent gear... My monk had 12.4 million experience points, so that is pretty top flight. I sold him after waiting for 15 years for the monk class to the character's original owner. The owner paid SIMU $250 to re-covert him back to a warrior. That should say a lot.


But, back on topic, those robes rock. If I wasnt playing a war mage, I would consider them strongly for my wizard.

For certain rogue builds, robes are actually very nice as well, though folks are free to disagree with me there. These are some of the best I have seen hit the open market in a long time, though you tossing out some sort of minimum value would be nice!
