I'd like to give some props to some of the amazing role-play I've shared this week with people, and situations, that I've just sort of stumbled into.

Drektor - at Helga's.

Fupius and Jasnel - for the help and craziness

Katiesa - helping on my little quest for information

Balantine - The tale, the shrine.

House Twilight - for suffering through a little unplanned song

Myharl - for the start of our own little 12 step program at the pawn shop

Goldstr & Capic - for taking the time to say something no matter where or what! (no small thing, that)

Crux - for all those mysterious surprise spells every time I turn around, OK, and all the mystery.

Guenn - for friendship to a stranger

And for everyone involved in the touching memorial today for Lord Enegue. The true measure of a people is how they treat those who went before them. In this, the Landing has no equal that I have ever seen.

I have probably left people out, but it's been a busy week, and I'm recovering from some random winter bug, and I don't think I'm ever going to get all those things entered at the blog.

May everyone have as delightful a time as everyone has shared with me, and onward!

~L.

Yeah, she's really good. She was all like "can I be your apprentice?" and I'm all "lets hear what you got" and then afterwards I wanted to throw away my mandolin and go home.

That's a very gracious thank you. I always felt grateful when someone would take the time to interact with me in game. Nice to see others feel the same.

I am waffling about publishing songs. I planned to at my blog ... then I realized that it may be an anti-interaction move on my part, and maybe I should not.

I am working on some more performances so that I can build a repertoire.

Thank you all.

Why waffle when you can pancake? :(

You cannot compare waffles to pancakes! They are both delicious, can be covered in soft butter and covered with syrup.

Bad form. :-P

You're not helping me convinced her! Besides, anything can be covered in soft butter and syrup.

Lady Sylvan

Not everything. You have to be really messed up in the head to put butter and syrup on foods like: pizza, burgers, pasta and sauce, French fries, broccoli.

Keep trying. ;-)

Wednesday night's kudos go to the folks under the Tree during a small performance.

Truje (really, once I wrote the song, I was fine....!)
Jeril
Crux
Fyonn (It wasn't bravery, it was nuts! Next time, I lead people off to a quieter place...)

I didn't say it would taste good just that you CAN do it :)

My sweetest thanks to everyone who came last night to hear The Legend of the Winter Rose. I ... was a wreck of nerves, but I survived!

Everyone, even those who came that I had never met, was so gracious.

Oh.My.Gosh! What an adventure this was last night as we chopped down trees. Yes, those trees.

Kudos to everyone who participated. I hope I listed everyone's names. I may be half blind from reading log files, though...

Tonight's adventure on another mountain. What's trust, cookies for dinner, and giants got in common? Oh yeah, white knuckles, too, but you may have already guessed that one.

I thoroughly enjoyed your latest post, Luxelle. Can we RP nominate for something like this? :)

I never hunted the Spider Temple. But I did hunt the Isle near Vaalor that houses mean warriors, large spiders, and deadly hawk owls. Nairena was killed a few times because of spider webs and swarming.

Lesson learned: Its better to run when the situation no longer goes your way, then stay and fight and die.

Earlier this week I met someone in the middle of a very busy Town Square. Well, I eventually met him. Kudos for your manners and unflappable demeanor in the face of a half-panicked bardess, Zazulu.

This story took longer than it should have to write. My apologies for that. Props to Aetheri for this adventure back towards the end of January.

Luxelle, I am highjacking your thread to shout out some RP props. I had a super fun interaction with some folks with those damn rats. So, I have been RPing being grumbly about rats...which, you know, IRL having to deal with the gross critters in my barn, I AM! But clearly I am coming around...

Speaking to Varucca, you say, "Darling, there is a rodent on you."
Varucca blinks.
You wrinkle your nose.
Speaking to you, Varucca exclaims, "A...a...rodent?!"
As you glance at Varucca you begin to twitch with agitation.
Varucca ponders.
Speaking darkly to you, Payme says, "That's our child."
Payme leans softly against Varucca.
Varucca quickly exclaims, "Oh wait, yes!"
You stare at Payme.
Speaking to you, Varucca gushes, "That is Biggie, our son."
Varucca grins stupidly.

These antics and more go on, leading finally to the pinnacle moment where I, too, am a lucky adoptee...

Speaking darkly to Varucca, Payme asks, "Don't you think she needs to babysit Slick for us?"
Varucca nods at Payme.
Varucca exclaims, "Yes!"
Payme rummages through a coarse burlap sack but it's clear he hasn't a clue if what he is looking for is there.
Payme sniffs at his burlap sack.
Speaking darkly to his burlap sack, Payme exclaims, "Someone is here for you!"
Payme waves a coarse burlap sack around.
You peer quizzically at Payme.
Payme offers you a coarse burlap sack.
Varucca beams!
You accept Payme's offer and are now holding a coarse burlap sack.
The burlap sack is stuffed with a variety of shredded up paper and cloth, formed to make a crude smelly nest. Tucked into the bedding is a rose-marrow potion. Curled up amongst its dubious treasures is an oily sewer rat.
You gasp.

Thanks, gais, that was fun and now I have hours of entertainment to enjoy playing with my Slick.

Thumbs da fuq UP.

A couple weeks ago Aetheri asked Luxelle to work up a performance for a song she had heard him sing a couple months ago. So this is actually two small adventures in one, she finished it Tuesday evening.

Thanks for trusting me with something so precious, Aetheri. :)
