I believe warriors and paladins like them because you get two bonded weapons when you use it. Double the fun!

Fully unlocked the split weapon keeps the full enchant.

Bonding is great but it also duplicates other enhancements on the item when you split it.

So if you enchant, weight, permabless, (nonscript)flare, ensorcell, subscript (RotFlares), bane, or add enhancives to - you are really adding to both hands.

Which is why the hand axe set is out of 99.999999999999999999% of players. It's a full splitter.

In my opinion, which means you don't have to adhere, I would pay that for an unlocked 7x. I think you're looking for in the mid-20s for locked. You could argue one just has to get it unlocked, but since their release there have been zero sessions, raffles or services in which one could. You would also be hard pressed to get any response from management as there are not enough in existance for players to be up in arms against. Sort of like Bastard Axes. Those should get a script like bastard swords but instead have their script slot taken by what the GRIP command worked out.

Don't take this as me attempting to be insulting or influence *your* personal valuation/minimum it'd take you to sell, because I am not and believe a person can tag whatever number they like on an item. Merely similar thoughts as Jace when it comes to mb sale price, given what I know falchion splitter sold for previously after a good amount of time, but perhaps that was not this one? Market seems very odd these days. Even so, if it were longswords or short swords, I'd likely give you this tier of mb because of my personal irrational love of them. Falchions would certainly be superior weapons for me to be using when it comes to mechanics, if it weren't an RP thing.

Pretty damned rare to see splitters move, so if someone does dig them, absolutely loves OHE TWC and does not care about weapon type..might want to hop on this right *now*. They are very neat and quite devastating if you can get them merchant work. Also already nice enough to have been enchanted to 7x, so that's out of the way. As Rob said, there's the applied to both parts with ensorc/bane blah blah stuff if you want some aspect on two weapons, so there's value in terms of savings to be had there. Maybe this is me disagreeing with my earlier statement on pricing? Best of luck with the sale; I do think someone ought to put this thing to use regardless! Cool of you to be putting a lot of this on the market.

these were made/unlocked at RTCF/CCF. Those events are rare as well. Also, they were Emeradan's script and he's no longer on staff

Xerria doesn't do much that provides a mechanical advantage, and the couple of items she does do it's not very significant, as this would be.

I don't think the unlocked splitters were offered at RtCF or CTF. I could be wrong but I remembered them being DM wins. I can't say I've ever seen an unlocking service for them. I've followed them closely, even tracking down people that left the game, because of my affinity for them.
