Up for auction is a thin-grained sephwir light crossbow inlaid with curled mithril scrollwork should a collector be interested. This 8lb mechanical light crossbow of speed is 5x, nicely zested with permanent heavy sighting on it. The minimum is 40mil. The buyout is 50mil.

The crossbow has a mechanical crank. The cock time is three seconds no matter what - race, strength, encumbrance, etc. This item will not force stance when cocking or pull the user from hiding. It allows the user to stay hidden while cocking and loading. Additionally - cocking can be done onehanded while the other hand is occupied.

You glance at a thin-grained sephwir light crossbow inlaid with curled mithril scrollwork. The sephwir light crossbow has a small windlass attached to it. It seems to be in fine working order, the cording recently replaced and the crank and winch well oiled.

Turn crossbow (allows the user to cock in 3 seconds)
Your grab the windlass attached to the crossbow and turn it, smoothly cocking it.
Roundtime: 3 sec.

Example of zesting:

Rub crossbow:
You polish your sephwir light crossbow with your hand, trying to remove all the imperfections.

Tap crossbow:
You scrutinize the tiller of your crossbow, occasionally running your thumb along the crossbow's surface, looking for flaws.

Push crossbow:
Carefully planting your foot firmly on the ground, you brace the prod of your crossbow against it securely. With the ease of long practice you slip the bowstring from one nock, twist it several times to tighten, and slide the knot's loop back into position.

Pluck crossbow:
You give your crossbow string a good pluck, testing it for proper tension.
The string makes a high pitched *twang* as you release it. (This feature also works while hiding in the shadows without pulling you out. I'd wager it would work with invisibility as well)

You hear a high pitched *twang* coming from somewhere nearby.

Toss crossbow:
You toss your crossbow a few inches in the air, catching it adroitly as you swing it around and sight down its length.

Point crossbow(at person):
You carefully sight down your sephwir light crossbow and along the shaft at Fuzznut.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the sephwir light crossbow in your hand...

The harmonics generated tell you that the crossbow assists its bearer with aiming attacks at range.
