So i've been gone for over 9 years now, and I love the updates to krodera ect, but veil iron seems likes it long overdue for an update regarding its inherent properties, like black ora, krodera, and coraesine have received. Here's to hoping this fine metal gets the love it deserves.

You mean kroderine. Nothing has been done to krodera except rare/unique pieces created by GMs with anti-magic properties before kroderine was released.

Veil iron and krodera weapons can be used for specific Cmans that require an anti-magical material. Spell cleave, spell thieve and spell parry.

Yeah, that's useful, but still not being able to further enchant it is a major downer, just seems like for meteorite metal with such cool natural properties its sorely lacking true attributes. That being said, its current form leaves alot to be desired.

Yup, exactly

Absolutely. At least it used to be rare. Now that it is more common it's basically worthless.

It's completely worthless. You could simply get a T1 ensorcell if you wanted to use spell cleave, spell thief, and spell parry. Instead it blocks enchanting AND ensorcell.

Blocking the ensorcell is the biggest killer for me. It makes the weapons completely worthless for any sort of investment.

And Veil Iron (aka Star Iron) used to be the ultimate metal. it is weak the way SIMU released its "properties"

When I opened Silvean's locker for the first time in over ten years, I realized his retirement plan of veil iron and pocketed cloaks had not increased in value the way I had hoped.

I would still love a veil iron claid or full plate.

Yeah. That is the person that ruined veil iron for me.

it is still kinda cool. My fantasy is to be decked out in all ICE age material for my paladin, but that shit is expensive and hidden for the most part in lockers.

I've always felt too much of any one material is tacky.

Ditto. Golvern is my favorite but I keep it to about 3 pieces max. Armor, weapon, boots.
