Auctioning off a large black ash mattock with a long dark-scaled death adder wrapped around it should a collector be interested. The mattock is +18, weighs 8lbs and can be further lightened. It's expertly damage weighted (30 points) and has a good deal of zesting from the living snake. The minimum is 10mil. The buyout is 20mil. Current bid of 10m to Stormcrow SOLD!


Death on a stick is an excellent weapon for Sunfist paladin. It's bondable for sanctification with an additional heavy damage weighting from the Crusade spell. It stacks with Sunfist heavy crit weighting or heavy damage weighting. A possible 50 points of damage weighting, or a combination of 40 points of damage weighting and 10 points of crit weighting when all is said and done.

Those sure used to be sought after. I owned one and really liked it. I wish the goddamn crit/damage weight variable rule would go away.

I only ever recall one kind of large ash black mattock. Here is the warrior assess of it tho.


You assess the mattock for structural weaknesses and strengths.

Careful examination indicates the black ash mattock has a base strength of 60 and a base durability of 145. You also determine the current integrity of the black ash mattock to be at 100.0%.

Checking out the mattock, it looks like it is expertly weighted to inflict more damage.

Yeah only one type that I know of as well, the one with 30 points of damage weighting.

I bought mine from the merchant selling them. It was an odd pop up merchant with some crazy nice items off the shelf in limited quantities (TS SE I think?). I grabbed a mattock, a mithril claid and some crit padded plate there heh (maybe damage padded, I forget).

Thinking back now I wonder if it was something authorized or just a GM going out with a bang or something. :)
