What are orbs?

OK one thing I haven't figured out yet since my return to the lands is what orbs are. It sounds like people can take enhancive items and convert them to an orb, the put that orb on an item they carry. Is that it? If so, how do I convert items to orbs and how do I put them on my items? Is it expensive? Are there limits?

Yes. This is usually only done at the event that just ended, EG. The cost to convert depends on the stat, ect. Can be cheap or run into the millions. You can only put them into fusion items. Most fusion items have two slots. Very, very few have more.
