Pretty sure mage rechargeables max out at 40 still, technically, even though it's impossible to have a high enough skill to do so with most out of sphere items. Unless that particular item was made with a max of 20 anyway.

For what it's worth, I can take blue crystals to 25 charges before they start giving me trouble, and my stats (MIU, EMC, HP, and MjE assuming that plays a factor) are all maxed out.

If the wizard has max charging stats, for a level 15 Major Spirit spell I would guess 25-30 charges.

I can usually stuff 25 charges into a blue crystal before it starts taking more than one try to stuff more in, which pretty much means you have a much higher chance of greening it, if that helps as a reference. Not sure if the penalty is more for a major spirit spell vs. minor spirit.

If you end up buying it, come find me when you need it recharged and I should be able to stuff at least 20-25 into it without much risk.
