insane. Why do I do this to myself? Oy vey. Sometimes I"m glad I'm not in a serious relationship other times I miss it. Right now I'm going insane dating people. I dunno, it's kinda overwhelming... Feel free to chime in with your feelings on dating.

It has its moments, just like everything in life.

Dating sucked.. but the variety of casual sex was pretty good.
Dating is something I definitely didn't get to do enough of but I don't miss it at all. I'm with PB in sort of missing the variety of good sex... but I'd rather have steady great sex with one chick and not worry about the next date, what will she be like...
Keep the faith Diana and stop scaring the good ones away.

Yeah I couldn't imagine going back to dating after being a relationship for 5 years.. I'd be too "unimpressive" now because I've already worked through the "awkward" phase of my relationship and moved onto the "comfortable" peice.. though I agree with all above that I sometimes feel I settled down too fast before getting my fill of casual relations.

The topic made me realize that none of my boyfriends have resulted from the normal kind of dating. They were all friends first, usually good friends, and we decided to take it further. I don't know what I'd do on a date where I didn't already know the person pretty well.

My buddy has been dating the same chick for 7 years. They started going out when they were 17. They lost their virginity to eachother. He's miserable- go figure. If you have only had one kind of pudding in your life, DO NOT SETTLE DOWN. You may be happy with vanilla, but tapioca may blow your mind and you'll NEVER KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY IT.
Dating can be fun it can also be a pain. I think you have to a sense of humour about it. I haven't had a steady girlfriend for over a year now and I have gone through periods of dating over the past year on and off. Some were so bad they were funny...and some weren't bad. Sometimes it is just fun to meet new people with no expectations, and if something happens, it happens ; if it doesn't, it doesn't. Still it can get frustrating if you go on date after date and you aren't meeting anyone you like or click with.

I cracked up when I read that, too funny. Dating has it's moments, like Maim said. Gotta try everything once, right? How will you know what you want if you haven't tried the rest? I'm not talking about casual sex either, PB. I'm just talking about personalities, lifestyle, ect. I don't mind dating so much, just as long as they're fun dates with interesting people.

Although my longest relationship was a whole 8 months or something stupid like that, I totally  dating. Fuck relationships MWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. I pity all you old people who totally miss dating.. and I laugh at you. Mostly because I'm young and you are not. For this, I win.

Bwahahahaha. Yes. That is how to do it. Minus the love part. But keep the 'different girl' and 'every week' in there.

Hm, being that my love life is virtually nonexistent, my opinion is that dating sucks. I've basically deemed myself an undateable person. So, I'm shooting straight for the gusto (being marriage). If a woman ever snags me, has a knife to my throat, and tells me marriage or death, i'll definitely marry the girl. Otherwise, i'll stay single, flexible, and adaptable to all situations. That's just my 2¢.
