I just want to take a moment to say this is not about me.

This isn't even really about Jaxon, my Nephew. This is about CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philly) and all the amazing things they do. This is just one small story.

I have been playing ArcheAge but only recently realized that the Extra Life program would allow me to collect donations to CHOP directly. So I decided to see if I could get some fellow gamers and friends and family to help out a wonderful place...

A little about my Nephew.

He was born with Multiple Heart defects.. including...

Dextro-Transposition of the Great Arteries

Ventricular septal defect is the most - hole in the heart.

And altho I don't know the name of it, the bottom half of his heart was twisted as well.

Jaxon required immediate surgery upon birth, constant monitoring, and regular checkups.

He has since gone back for a second round of open heart surgery (Yeah, imagine having TWO open heart surgeries before you even went to kindergarten).

Let me introduce you to Jaxon

If it wasn't for CHOP and the last picture (along with the first surgery) none of the earlier pictures would have been possible. I am asking some fellow gamers to give if they can to help a great hospital help more kids in the future. Who knows, maybe the next kid will be someone you know.

Any amount that anyone can give is appreciated. Below is a link to my donation page.

I am hoping to reach 200$ so I can get a t-shirt for my Nephew, but raising anything for this amazing place would be great.

Thank you for your time.

That's awesome of you, Jarvan. I hope things go smoothly for your nephew from here on out.

Well, the hole in his heart hasn't closed. And the lack of oxy in the blood is concern for developmental delays. His oxy count is still very low. Luckily, his DR at CHOP wants to use him as part of a case study, so most of his medical bills will be taken care of.
