Snake Flares & TWC

I've always wanted a character that utilizes two weapon combat. 4 months ago I bought a 4x handaxe and a 5x falchion that both have snake flares to use for TWC when I got around to making a character that utilized it. I'm wanting to know if anyone has much experience in using snake flaring weapons in TWC and whether it makes for a pretty effective combat tactic or is some other type of flaring weapon more effective with TWC. As I've put most of my time in to my main which is a wizard, I'm just now working on a Paladin (level 5) that uses TWC. I definitely like TWC but want to get some opinions on how good using snake flaring weapons with this kind of attack will be later on. Because if it won't be all that I want it to be, I may just sell them and get my wizard some armor.

Appreciate any thoughts or inputs someone might have.

I had a rogue that used TWC snake flaring - was pretty solid build and a ton of fun. Got into trouble when I made it to minotaurs and started getting disarmed, but prior to that was great. Not easy to replace a nice snake flare OHE. Overall though I definitely recommend. Still have the baldric and weapons stashed away somewhere for when I decide to go back to TWC.
