A) Killing all cats is an interesting scenario, and would cause problems. [what I thought but didn't post]Imagine the economic ramifications of a sudden kat-nip surplus, or the spike in psychiatric care for former cat ladies.

B) I'd rather deal with going slightly more crazy with cats in my house than deal with mice.
