It was enjoyable. Omaha was a much better team overall, beating Boston 41 to 18. I didn't even know this was a thing until I turned the TV on and saw it. Not sure how many games will be played since there are only 4 teams but I won't say no to Wednesday night football.

I haven't been able to find a website with game stats yet.

I hadn't heard of it either. it made me think of that year the guy from WWE tried to start his own football league - XFL.

sounds like a good idea though. but at $1,000 a game that's rough on the players. I think the CFL even pays better than that.

Games will be played on Wednesday nights to avoid competition with high school football (Friday), college football (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and the NFL (Thursday, Sunday and Monday).

Sweet. Football everyday of the week.

The USFL was supposed to start up this spring after NFL does the Superbowl. http://theusfl.com/

They are also to be a development league. I wonder if both of these are the same people.

Far as I know, though, Vince McMahon has nothing to do with it. But a bunch of the people who worked in the XFL, or helped get it going, are part of the USFL.

I know that. The XFL was wrestling bullshit. The USFL was real football... As is the New USFL that is being created.
