The Faendryl Enclave presents Faendryl Cobbling and Fashion. In Wehnimer's Landing on 10/10/2014 at 8pm everyone interested is invited to join me, Japhrimel, as I work on some cobbling. I will be creating a few "Faendryl themed" shoes for various volunteers who attend and talk about my own theories on how Faendryl/dark elven fashions may have changed over time and/or why they may include this or that style or material. I can also go over the basics of cobbling for those interested in the skill. I will, at the end, either spin or select a few people to make shoes for, from whatever style and materials I can do. Depending on turn out I may make a list of all those interested in shoes and, if you so desire, you can contact me at a later time to get some made.

Be on the lookout for the crier and anything on the amulet about it. The news item is already released.

Note: You will need to join me and come with me into the cobbling workshop where I will be making shoes and talking. Once I am inside the room no one else can get inside unless escorted by me and I'd rather not keep interrupting to grab people. Hmm, actually I might have an alt rent the room and lead everyone in so that he/she/it can bring people in.. BUT, I'd still like people to arrive promptly if possible. Thanks!

If I can haul myself out of bed at 9am on a Saturday morning (welcome to Tokyo) this could be interesting.

Actually wanted to get Kaldonis into cobbling, but halflings don't wear shoes. Actually, I'm curious if it can be done for any reasonable amounts of experience like learning fletching, but no idea at all about the system, and it seems like a fun event.

Good luck either way!

The system is part of the artisan system and so will provide EXP like fletching or forging, yep.

Of course. More wondering how insane the system is to undertake with the main goal of gaining experience. Mastering fletching is pretty painless and easy.

I got about 350 ranks and had to take a long break, then finally powered through to finish before EG'13 in the hopes of the limited edition patterns. Then I didn't touch cobbling again until February because I was so sick of it. Since then I've been enjoying it, though. It was very time consuming and costly.

So sorry I will miss this event. Wish I had known it was being scheduled on this date.
