Yes. two-handed and higher RT poles do more damage than one handed and quick poles.

What about race, I'm assuming that there are racial bonuses depending on size? Giant>gnome for example?

I can answer the question about racial bonuses.

Charge an many other CMANs will give a bonus or penalty to account for the relative size difference between the attacker and the defender. It is not a racial bonus per se (which implies a flat bonus or penalty at all times). For instance, with sweeps by a giantman, I have noticed a +10 bonus against "human sized targets", but a +25 bonus against smaller targets such as gnolls and mezics. Similarily, I have noticed a penalty against larger opponents such as true giants.

As far as his first question, any more information? Does the size of the polearm increase knockdowns too? I haven't tested about weapon size and charge and so would be interested in as much info as possible on this :)
