Failures:
If the difficulty of the cast is the two easiest readings then failures will not cost you anything extra. Anything more difficult and each failure will cost 10% of the ensorcell. I will cast at the item first to see what the difficulty is at which point you are free to refuse the service at no cost to you.

Remember no harm can come to your item at all from ensorcelling.

Just did a T4 on a 7x perfect forged blink weapon with no problem. Even got the easiest difficulty reading.

Does perfect forged and blink not add much to the difficulty or am I reaching the point where I can finally start tackling some of the harder stuff?

Scripts on an item are Category D in link below. I believe ensorcellments are mainly affected by enchant, weighting/padding/TD/flares (B slot stuff), and tier of ensorcell.
