Hey guys,
I was just wondering what sort of CMANs are you guys using and why?
I'm a straight TWC user that doesn't ambush or hide, and I currently have Combat Movement, Side By Side (I'm always grouped), Weapon Spec, and Surge. Was wondering what else everyone was using and recommended.
Thanks!

Combat mobility, combat focus, cunning defense, feint, and disarm would be ones to consider. If you use small weapons maybe predator's eye. What profession or professions are you grouped with? Also, what kind of armor do you wear?

Coup and Dervish are possibilities.

I'm always grouped with a mage and sometime with a bard. (do you get any extra benefits if they train in side by side too?)
Currently using a falchion and longsword combo in brig. Thinking about upgrading into heavier armor, but don't have the points yet.
I have used coup before but it felt like a waste of valuable points since alot of things shrug off stuns later or immune.
What is dervish?
Thanks for all the help!

Dervish redirects your second swing to a different target if your first swing causes death. So if you swing two blades at a bandit and the first swing killed it the second swing goes to the next target. Coup works on bandits (and anything you can stun) and gives the whole group an AS boost.

Dervish sounds interesting, still hesitant on coup. I remember it being alot of cman points for little benefit... The boost only last for like 30 seconds right?

I hide, ambush, and often hunt solo, so I use different CMANs. Smastery and Vanish are essential - I also use Surge, Evade, Divert (level 4), Slippery Mind, Toughness (level 1), Mobility, and Quickstrike. The last skill is debatable, but it can come in handy when a target survives an ambush or when those blasted perceptive griffins are around. Also when I hunt in a group I tend to remain visible, so Quickstrike compensates somewhat for not being able to ambush.

Yes, the AS/DS goes up if they train in it as well.
Dervish also requires 30 ranks of MoC, which unless you happen to be training already you won't have the points for it.

If you don't have mobility, you need to have mobility.

Even if you're not an crossbow user?

I had combat mobility from whenever I could get it straight through cap. It's the only one I never switched up.

Mobility's saved my behind many times, and the full benefit's pretty cheap (only 15 CM points for 100% trigger rate).
