If anyone is feeling philanthropic, HALP!
I won't hunt OTF and I need to kill those two undead critters on Plane 1 to viably train my Voln Warrior (Hammerrhead) so I'm in sort of in a pickle, plus I'm not up to date with game mechanics.
So please help me not suck so bad. Thank you.

You may wish to post some build information, gear, etc.

I ... don't even understand how this would work, but...
Could I pay a bunch of silvers, or give someone a fancy item or whatnot to have one of you hold my hand while I try and get fried? The conditions would be that you're l33t and helping my n00b ass and not suck; and adding to the problem, like I am. Hokai.

I have 5x armor, a 5x shield, 2x brawling, 2x OHBs, lotsa combat maneuvers, will use Voln Fu or a blessed morning star that I WSpec in and so on.
Just standard Warrior stuff, nothing too impressive.

If he still plays I would recommend Kerl to help you out. Best of luck, man. I'm sure someone would be willing to show you the ropes.

I'd do it, but I'm way too lazy.

Heh, still a bit before I can play again.
As for training advice. 3x shield use if you aren't already, drop the brawling. Get MoC up to 90-100 ranks with looking to have 135 around cap.
Naisirc - should be feint mstrike, and done.
Seraceris - these guys often enough have WoF, feint, swing, and move on if you can't hit them.
Combat maneuvers haven't really changed but if you've got shield bash and want to free up more points you can train in the shield maneuver instead.
Shield maneuvers are rather nifty. There are likely some that you should pick up first thing. I'd suggest shield focus rank 3 at least, prop up, bulwark(if you use a tower, which you should be), trample(You'll need 2-3 ranks of either shield bash or charge for this), trample mastery. After that, I'd probably lean in the direction of deflection training and deflection mastery but what you pick is entirely up to you. Look at the list of maneuvers and ask questions if you have any about specific maneuvers.

As far as one handed advice goes this is excellent.

Agree with much of Jeril's advice (especially trample+trample mastery).
The biggest problem with plane one is non-corp critters with high DS, and all the critters move around a lot. Combine that with fairly meagre loot, and it can kind of be a "why am I bothering" challenge.
My suggestion is to move to plane two as quickly as you can. In my opinion it is a square's paradise: little travelled and rich in loot, and caedera skin AG tasks are nothing short of the most spectacular bounties in the game. Invest in enhancives and weaponry as much as you have to, and take on the challenge and reap the rewards.
Also, not playing much these days, so I don't think I can personally help you much Stanley, but I did truly make bank on plane two, and this was before AG tasks. The pures will more likely skip to plane three (and a lot of squares too) so you'll mostly have the plane to yourself as soon as you can make the jump. Good luck.
