Wow, it's been years. Hi again, everyone!

So I got the itch. I'll probably renew my subscription in the next week or so and I'm playing around with different character ideas using Tsorans spreadsheet.

Toying with a polearm / 410 human rogue right now and I'm trying to see if it's comparable to sword/board rogues later in life. What is the typical AS/DS of a capped rogue these days?

Do you plan on hiding and ambushing or just swinging from the open? If you hide you can only ambush with polearms gripped in one hand, not two, so that would limit your choices and you'd probably want a shield at that point but I've known people to go without. You aren't going to have the AS/DS of someone who is just straight sword/board for a long while postcap just because polearms are so expensive for a rogue. For decent defense all you'd need is 2x dodge(and 1x shield if you choose to use one), anything more then that is just gravy.

AS isn't that difficult to break down.
302 weapon skill
101 cman
Gives you a base of 403
30 from STR
At cap a 7x weapon is easy enough to get, +35
Society is anywhere from 26-35
Puts you at 494-503
You could easily add max surge and wspec
Bringing your totals to 520-529
Modify from there as you need.
