View Full Version : PS VITA worth it?

Harvest season is going to be over in about a month and my job will once again be 8 hours of pure boredom. I'd like to get your thoughts on this system before I decide to get one for winter. I've read the reviews but I would prefer your opinions.

I think it does work with some other PSP games from what I read. I don't harvest anything myself. I work for an AG company that provides farmers with equipment. Harvest is our only REALLY busy season.

i lost all hopes for handheld gaming systems after i owned my first psp, everything about it was dissapointing except for how easily i could softmod it.. i probably wouldnt waste the money on it unless you found one for rediculiously cheap.

The Vita has some fairly enjoyable games. Soul Sacrifice, Person 4, Toukiden, etc. It's a good system if you enjoy JRPGs. I bought mine a few months ago and aside from the short battery life, it keeps me entertained.

If you get one, I highly recommend giving Freedom Wars and God Eater a look.

I was going to pick one up because there were several games I wished to play on it, but now that Playstation TV was announced I plan on getting that instead. Portability doesn't hold much appeal to me. I don't like mobile gaming.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna pass on the vita. With its starting price and the price of top tier memory card being 100$ I can't fathom buying it. I'll just wait five years and buy one for like 50 bucks off ebay with 30 games.

Yeah, Playstation's handhelds are all about the JRPGs. They're good if you're into that stuff.
