Heyo,
Question for all the lance users out there.
I'm an elf right now and currently sitting on -4 RT which puts me at 5 RT a lance. BUT, any type of weight puts me at 6-7 RT. (100 STR currently)
How does everyone deal with lance RT while still looting treasure?
Thanks!

As your agi/dex increases your rt will drop more.

You also need to be fully trained for the armor you're wearing.

Despite these things, being an elf is *almost* as bad as being a halfling as far as encumbrance goes. Wizard strength and a disk are your best bets. Don't let your mind completely empty before going hunting again, and come back in when it's full/bounty is done.
armor support and lightened armor will also help.

Things like 509/511 and max light armor help, especially when you get into fullplate. You can also find enhancives to increase your STR more and learning the combat maneuver surge of strength. Enhancives for dex/agl would also help but less so and you'd need more of them, after 53 your thresholds for that are 68, 83, and 98. Chances are you are also a low level right now, and armor hindrance isn't that big a deal, find a warrior to give you armor support. Neelin is capped and he still prefers armor support over having less hindrance. No idea if you know it or not but once you get a bonded weapon you get an enhancives bonus to STR and WIS from it, +1 bonus per rank.

Yeah, I'm really counting on that +5 STR from my bonded weapon later. And, it looks like I'll have to invest in some lightened plate when the time comes. And surge of strength. Nice.
Okay it seems I've got a lot of options at my disposal.
Nice, thanks all!

Oh, you're a warrior? Yeah, you've got a lot of options. Max light plate will add about 40 pounds to your carrying capacity, surge will add a great bit more, and you should be able to keep surge up non-stop at rank 5 after about 35th level or so. You'll be able to armor support yourself too.

Nah paladin. I was referring to the 1625 weapon bond. Probably not the right term. But everything but armor support should still apply.

armor support is usually pretty easy to get around any town, I don't know of any warriors that mind doing it for free.

lightening gear, especially your armor is the best way to deal with encumbrance issues. Also take a look at your wardrobe and the things you carry, ditch the extra weight anyplace you can find it.

Armor support is god.
Jeril's is the best. Sans the sticky marks left behind.
