Careful inspection, though, shows that the armor's hides have been remarkably undamaged by the intense heat. A strange necrotic haze radiates from the brigandine.

It's apples to oranges, my friend. Padding on fulls is 2 steps above padding on robes. Is your item T5 ensorc? Does your item have Ithzir or Voln flares?

this makes me wonder, what would a realistic price range be on max light 8x HCP doubles with perm. incredible punct resist and T4 voln be? personal setup is to add temp. incred fire resist and warrior slash resist to help with crawlers...but understand that is not part of the inherent value of the armor.

interesting hearing what you guys have developed for armor though. The OP's armor is really pretty nice armor. What looks like about 80 points of resistance is a pretty sweet deal; I don't know enough about Ithzir to decide if it's worth it for someone who would wear brig, but I would guess that's more likely the case than a heavier armor wearer, who would be more inclined to not flee from a fight when down.

True, but easy enough to get an AsG change at the next merchant. At RTCF spots were selling for only 15m and some people turned the service down as an option. Also, when I was in Shattered, I saw how durable a ranger could be with a high end set of brig, so that's why I made this one. Even as a weedmage in brig your hinderance is relatively low, so this is really the optimal item for a spell rogue or ranger.

Just imagine traversing the lava flows with this amount of resistance.

This was from the Feeding Frenzy right after the transitions to GS4, so rangers couldn't do shit.

Originally I bought it off the pawnshop table for 5k because someone pawned it without having it sung to after finding it in a box.

It was only 4x then, and was probably the first item with resistance in the lands to have been found/created.

Good hearing from you guys. You know, I had a 513 item made at RTCF. Some people said, "that's imbeddable stupid, should have got 606." But I needed it for my character and I don't like fucking with imbeds. So yeah, I'd love to swap the fire at some point for something else, and I've suggested that as a merchant service, but it's unlikely to come to fruition. Hopefully this armor will peak the interest of someone too lazy to get ranger resists.

Ondreian - thanks for the history on this item. Your input is highly appreciated. Did it have all 3 resists (save lightning) when you had it? I had lightning added.

The level of resists and Ithzir on this armor are pretty rare alone, much less together. Then you have the T5 ensorcell on top of it. Very hard combo to find, this is a one of a kind piece.
