losing a playershop

Anyone know if there is a working timer for losing a shop if deactivating for a couple months?

I realize that rent isn't being collected, so no shop owners are going to be evicted due to non-payment of rent. But I thought you had to visit your shop once in awhile and enter a SHOP command (once in six months perhaps?) to avoid losing your shop.
