Due to PM's and in game response for this item, moving this to it's own thread. Auction has not been reset, high bid is still 80m to Grim going once!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5x T4 MCW (20-24 points) returner - jagged-edged throwing axe (purchased for 175m)

- The first thing that strikes you about the axe is the weight, which is about 5 pounds.

- You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the throwing axe for you.

- It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of vultite.

- It has a bonus of +25 from a normal axe

With a quick flick of your wrist, you deftly send a jagged-edged throwing axe into flight.
You throw a jagged-edged throwing axe at a thunder troll!
AS: +391 vs DS: +68 with AvD: +36 + d100 roll: +5 = +364
... and hit for 87 points of damage!
Weapon arm mangled horribly.
[You have earned 1 prestige point.]
The thunder troll crumples to the ground motionless.
The deep blue glow leaves a thunder troll.
The light blue glow leaves a thunder troll.
The powerful look leaves a thunder troll.
The bright luminescence fades from around a thunder troll.
The silvery luminescence fades from around a thunder troll.
You feel the unnatural surge of necrotic power wane away.

Your throwing axe spins rapidly through the air, the blade whooshing audibly with each revolution. As it completes its arc, it reverses direction and lands solidly in your right hand, ready to throw again.

SOLD TO GRIM

But it now and get it baned at EG!

What I want to know is, what the hell do you do with TWO hurling axes?

Respectfully,
Matthew

....I think you already know. I had toyed with the idea of TWC Hurling on the bard. You can aim hurl two chronomage daggers in 1s with Tonis. Maximum of 6 flares and 8 total strikes in 1s? Everyones gotta have goals.

That sounds absolutely broken... awesome but as EQ used to say all the time "not intended by the design team."

My goal is to grow a third arm and hurl all three of my hurlers at once. My rogue did dual chrono dagger hurling route for a bit; they were fun toys until I replaced them with a gauntlet bow.

I just want to know what survives a single thrown attack with a MCW weapon on a regular basis that makes having two MCW returners that much more effective! Grims maybe.

You're breaking the game.

This is why berserking needs to utilize returners. God that would be so badass
