Dateline 8/27/2014: THE BACON CONSPIRACY

Bacon? Thats right, Bacon! That thing that makes the world seem right! Bring forth your best bacon recipes (not restricted to breakfast) to be judged by the capable team from Twilight Hall, including Chairman Rolfard's mouth and stomach! Contestants may present ingredients, cooking style and flare, and finally TASTE! Prizes will be awarded!

During Frontier Days (8/27 9:00 A.M. elven), Twilight Hall will be inviting everyone with culinary capability to wake up, get their cooking skillets warm, and show off their talent at our cookoff! We will be meeting outside of the Fieldstone House on the north most tip of West Ring road before taking our troupe to Manny's Kitchen!

Contestants will have about 5 minutes to 'prepare' their recipes using SMILE and ACT followed by sharing 2-3 flavors for their bacon inspired delicacy. There will be prizes, doorprizes, and more! Hope to see everyone there!

Judicious use of coffee will be prevalent in the hour preceding the event!

While the price of bacon continues to get too damn high, we'll be conspiring over what other ingredients may best accentuate the delicate and mysterious flavor of bacon! This event starts in about an hour so warm up that coffee!

Vigilant guardsmen scrutinize the citizens and travelers arriving and departing through the wide gateway spanning the land route into Wehnimer's Landing. The frenetic pace of the city to the south is a far cry from the deceptive calm of the wilds of Elanith outside. Two daunting towers survey the countryside and protect the town, flanking the road to the east and west. You also see a raffle counter with some stuff on it, a raffle table with some stuff on it and a half-scorched wooden barrel.
