Was cleaning out some alt lockers and found this. No idea where it came from. Anyone recognize this or the loresongs?
a simple yew cornett
>inspect my cornett
You carefully inspect your yew cornett.
After a careful inspection you determine that a simple yew cornett requires skill in horn-type instruments to play effectively.
The yew cornett must be played with two hands.
You determine that you could not wear the cornett.
>l my cornett
You see nothing unusual.
Loresing
- As you sing to the cornett, you receive a faint impression of the smell of a sweltering summer breeze, but you can untangle no real meaning with your magic.
- The sound of a faintly sibilant voice calling upon Luukos's power swirls around you in response to your song.
- Briefly, you hear elegant cornett music, but then it is gone.
- The image of a city guard sleeping at his post materializes briefly before you, but it fades without vouchsafing any information.
- You sing to the cornett, but receive only the normal harmonies of yew in return. You sense that no one could have learned more about the instrument's history than you learned. The harmonies fade as you finish your verse.
- Your song waxes and wanes, but the vibrations yield only a quick, meaningless scattering of sensory impressions to you, all of which come too quickly and fade too swiftly to be identified.
