To all Vaalorians and Those it may concern,
So it was a peaceful night in Ta'Vaalor. The young folks were enjoying themselves between hunts. All seemed calm and right in our grand fortress.
Only myself and Nouvard were present for the meeting that was pretty quick (Roshomba Tourney, Citizen Badges) After the meeting we decided to patrol the Fearling Pass leading from the northwest gate to the ferry for bandit activity. Nothing.
Then the alarms sound and the soldiers stationed on the walls announced the mass of bandits that were forming outside. We formed into a few groups, set off down the road, and dealt with them. We found this one human brigand and he spoke to us.
From what the human brigand told us:
1. The Guild of Thieves don't plan on leaving the Fearling Pass.
2. They plan on setting up a base and robbing all whom dare use the pass.
3. They will accept a large sum of silver each day to not attack and rob those who use the Fearling Pass.
As a Vaalorian Mage and defender of Ta'Vaalor, I warn all who use Fearling Pass to use caution. Until our great king figures out how to deal with this minor problem. No band of thieves can survive the might of Ta'Vaalor. (They also have machines that shoot bolts and arrows.)
