while testing this and the axe, they were ridiculously devastating while focused mstriking stuff with lots of spells. got quite a few dispel nuke flares from the second or third dispel. Was a fun build while I played with it.

Hermie while I understand you feel burned because there was no interest for days while your bid was on the table, then all of a sudden the flood gates opened. I can guarantee you that nobody is intentionally trying to upset you or step on your toes. This auction has a couple of bidders with genuine interest in the item at hand.

I think Rolis is trying to be fair to everyone who may be interested in such an item and is giving people time to place their bid if they desire to instead of rushing a sale. I've purchased a good bit of items from Rolis and I firmly believe him to be a stand up guy. He is offering up to the Gemstone community items that he has while he goes into hibernation for awhile that would otherwise collect dust.

He's not in it for the profit, not really since most if not all of his items have sold at a loss from what he's invested. It's more along the lines of giving back to the community instead of leaving with gear that so many people do. If anything he deserves to be thanked, instead of leaving for a bit of rest with people thinking he was out to screw them.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to cede the auction seeing how long I've had a the bid in? Jace and I came to a nice consensus. But he and I are on much different terms. You can imagine having THE BID for four days and then to be trumped by an auction. Either way no hard feelings to Rolis he's good people. And if you don't cede I know you'll enjoy the sword in game.

I don't understand why people get worked up about this. no one is obligated to sell anything at any time, and if they choose not to due to a lack of interest oh well?

It's not like this is the old amunet "oh, private bidder for 5k more!" (repeat) or anything dishonest.

Honestly rigging the auction with other interested parties is WAY shadier than them not noticing or caring about your initial MB offer.

Again, I apologize to Hermie if he feels slighted by the way my auction was run. I admit that it was not in a timely manner and being on the purchaser's end I would not have liked it.

It was by no means intentional, I just have been selling items on the side when I have time.
